Does Aquagear make water more alkaline, or raise pH?

Aquagear Filters can very slightly increase the pH of your source water by reducing acidic contaminants. However, the Aquagear filter is not designed to increase pH. The resulting pH will depend upon the pH of the initial source water put into the Aquagear Filter Pitcher.
